Succesful Crawford Install :)
Succesful Crawford Install :)
The second try of the Crawford plenum install is a success
I have one question to the peepz that have it though. Do you have/noticed a gurgle sound at low rps coming from the engine bay ? is that normal ? I will be calling Goug at crawford tommorow to let him know that the 2nd plenum he sent me was good but would like to hear from you guys too. As far as the performance .... WOW! the car is begining to scare me now, I love it. It pushes mutch harder, it feels more than the 10hp they claim. If the sound I am experiencing is normal then count me in as another happy crawfold plenum user.
Ahh yea, if any STOCK 6MT coupes wanna race my 5AT, ill woop your a**es anytime
BTW I installed my stillen xdrilled/slotted rotors, I will drive a bit (I gotta take it easy on them for 300 miles or so) and then post a review here soon.

just download the pdf from wwww.crawfordzcar.com website there are some tips though, dont forget to screw in the 2 short bolts that go in the place of the unused holes. Also when you put the new plenum on make sure you dont catch any part of the oil cap between the gasket and the plenum. Also the bottom hose in the back of the plenum will have coolant in it so you might wanna be careful pulling it and then stick a piece or rolled up paper towel in it to stop it from leaking. take your time and have fun. It took me and my buddy(he is the man, if it wasnt for him I would have about half of the mods I have now) about an hour 15 going slow and double checking everything.

I've just installed my second Crawford Plenum too and it works fine. First one was warped slightly. I'm not getting any gurgling sound (that I can hear) from under the hood.
I like the mod, it's good bang for the $.
What did the Stillen x-drilled/slotted rotors cost you? Did you replace the pads too or just the rotors?

Gsedanman I got the rotors from kastleskorner.com. The fronts were 299.98 and the rears 269.98. I also got the stoptech stainless lines front and back 94.98 and 76.98. I havent put the lines on yet, will do soon. I will write up a little review for you guys soon. I did change the front pads to ebs green stuff and rears I just got a new set of oem pads(ebc doesnt make rear yet) You have to replace pads for new rotor installation. One thing about shipping it seems like it took forever, about 3 weeks from the time I placed my order. The rotors look sweet, really nice, just like on the pics on that site.
