SAFC II on stock car

Is there any point in getting an SAFC and having the car tuned when stock?

Also, how about with minor mods (catback, z tube, cats, y pipe). Would it make more sense to get these first and then the SAFC?

If you get it professionally tuned then it'll help a little. Its really for mods. No point of spending money to trying to tune it when its all stock. I'm sure OEM has it tune to a T for all purpose.

uhh yea it would make a lot more since to get those mods first!!!! i mean you can go ahead and buy the safc for looks and **** but you need to wait to get it tuned at a dyno until you have a couple mods other wise you will have to keep going back and paying an A** ton of money in tuning for very minimal gains.

I considered getting an SAFC instead of a proper piggyback, but I was concerned about the ecu changing maps on the fly. After reading this thread, I've made up my mind to save up for a utec.
