Re: clicking

i kno the sound that comes from the cd changing. this isn't the same.. this noise comes even when one of my cd's is halfway thru.. i doubt the cd is starting to change that soon.. and i turned off my stereo completely as well as my A/C and anything else that could be making the noise on the center console and the clicking is still there.. it only seems to happen when the car is in motion..

Re: clicking

GILovemycar, I think you'll find that the noise you are hearing is around the windshield where it meets the body of the car. From what I've read, sometimes the glass isn't glued properly, resulting in 'movement' and popping sound between the 2 surfaces. Look for telltale leaks, or foggy patches, all the way around the bottom of the glass. If no leaks and noise is an issue, the dealer will help. If I'm not mistaken there is a Nissan Tech bulletin on the subject. I'm sure the dealer can find it.

Re: clicking

I think I know what you are talking about... sounds almost like a watch clicking but not as regular, quite intermittent, not as loud as the sounds that the CD changer makes when it is changing disks. It's more likely to occur when turning a corner. I agree it has an electrical sound to it, I wondered at first about the keyfob remote (but that's not it). I'm going to try the suggestion about putting foam into the corner of the center console to see if that solves it.

Re: clicking

I have to back that up, cause i heard it too at a stop light. it's annoying. It is the CD changer though. I don't know why it does that in the middle of a song. Damn intuitive changer
