Dyno comparison: high-flow cats vs. test pipes

Well, the time has come for me to upgrade another part of the car. This Saturday, I will be replacing my Crawford high-flow cats with the Fast Intentions resonated test pipes. The FGC is having a dyno day on Saturday, which means I HAVE to do a before/after dyno to see how much more power these test pipes add and what the torque curve looks like. I'm sure some of you have been wondering the same thing...I'm excited to find out.

I will be dynoing at 9:30am with the Crawford high-flow cats for $30 (2 runs with a/f). Then I'm having the shop installed my test pipes for $70. Soon after, I will dyno with the test pipes (another $30 for 2 pulls and a/f). I will post my results as soon as possible. I hope this will end my quest for the 13s. I haven't managed better than a 14.0 @ 99mph. I will be going to the drag strip tomorrow night and then I will return sometime after the install of the test pipes. Wish me luck.

Good luck.

Here's a thread over on my350z with a dyno comparing the crawford cats to topspeed testpipes. Same dyno. The only difference was the crawfords were dyno'd in August, and the test pipes were dyno'd in January.

Also, don't expect the same gains. He's got a revup, and he's also got crawford headers.

Do you need to go any faster? haha... I remember how quickly you pulled away from our caravan up to ZDayz. But yeah, I sold the cats to a local.

Did you ever get the dyno graphs? If you did can you post them up?
