has anyone used or know someone who has used jet chips. I have a few mods, stillen cat back, headers, and aem intake. Am also going to get mrev2. jet wants me to send them my chip for a custom tune $399.00 cheap compared to the big two unichip and utec. I am not trying to go cheap but they seem good they do most of the work on trucks mostly domestic and have gotten into imports 7 yrs ago plus have certification and will not void any warrenty. opinions please

Of course it won't void any warranty. They would actually have to CHANGE something in the programming to do that.

maybe i should have been more clear. it seems that they will have to reprogram the chip would that not be changing the programing?

Let me explain myself. When one just receives an ECU, slaps a JET sticker on it and just sends it back "as is", no it won't void the warranty.

what jeff is really saying is that JET won't do anything...

i know accords had moderate success with JET... domestics have more success as do stock turbo cars. i wouldn't mess with it for the G/Z

I understand it was a thought. Just frustrating that you had that thought after I posted JET for most imports are worthless.

There's no way in hell that I'm giving them $x hundreds of dollars to be the sucker. Especially given their well earned scamming repuation not only on the maxima boards but on TS's site also. Been there lately?
