What is the Best Mod for increased HP on a lease?
Hey y'all! I'm new here but wanted to ask some of you your opinions. I've read a lot about the Stillen High Flow Intake and how it will give a 6spd sedan an 11 horsepower increase. I want to do that and have some questions.
If you have leased the car for two years and don't want to void the warranty, is this an acceptable mod?
How much will it cost me to have it installed and how long will it take? Where should I have it installed? I live in Pasadena CA.
Is there a better deal than ordering it directly from stillen.com?
I'd appreciate any and all information.

Well you can perform what ever mods you see fit...but if your worried about spending money on a car that your gonna give back in 2yrs than dont go crazy...CAI is a good starter mod and relativly inexpensive compared to the other mods.I have a 6mt coupe lease and i am trying to decide if i should mod up too...To be honset with you dude from what i was told by a few people in the legal field the only way a modification can void a warranty is if the manufacturer can prove the problem was caused by the mod..Eg: If you put a cold air intake on and your brakes go bad they cant refuse the warranty..

It's a lease. If you plan on giving it back get a zex no2 kit. They are about 700 bucks. Can add like whatever hp you want. I recommend running 55-75shot. People have fun 350shot on the G's and have had no problems. The kit is easy to install and completly bolt on. Juicedcoupe is expierenced in this field. He lives in VA and he has a 150shot. Talk to him. www.zex.com
