another good alternative is a twin turbo m45 engine (v8). That would also be a pretty nice swap, and there was one guy that did it in a magazine and I believe he was also pushing out 800+ hp.

Rb engine would be bad *** also, I'm just giving you another option. Lol.

please dont do this.... unless you are loaded and dont care about money. Im not sure who it was... maybe skunk projects? imnport tuners? i forgot now, but they did an article in one of the tuner mags. A company with pretty much unlimited funding and more knowledge than pretty much anyone else, chose to scrap the rb and go with the sr20 cause of all the extra fabrication work that would be necessary. I was looking at doing the same swap like 8 months ago. I located a whole front clip, r33 for $3500. how much did you pay for the motor alone?

I would strongly recommend the sr20..............

iron block is heavy as hell also... its not a bolt in by any means. dont let the shop take advantage of you.

RB26 is Skyline GTR. The other model Skylines use RB20, RB25. Good Luck on the swap. That will be one bad *** G. My son and I are planning on doing a APS twin turbo on his 04 G35 coupe next summer. We just live a few hours from Z1 Motorsport in Georgia. What are you going to do to your G35 motor? Are you planning on selling it? I can use a new motor for my 86 300ZX turbo(VG30DET). We got my son the G to replace his tired, but still hauls *** ZX turbo.

i bet there is a lot of ... "well we need to fabricate this and this and that and we dont know what to do about that. we may have been wrong with our initial estimate". i dont mean to hate i just dont see it happneing.

i knew someone would do it, but im on the "why not go FI" side of this discussion.

if you just TT your car and build the internals im geussing your car would be moe reliable, less tuning maintenence and still be faster than most of the cars u run across... buuuuuut you lose the uniqueness of having teh RB26.

whatever floats ur boat!
