uhmm.. hahaha.. well i was looking a lot of G's with z`tubes and a lot of them don't have the head covering. is it because it wont fit or you guys just removed it for looks?

sorry to bring up an old thread again, but i have a question about the stillen Z tube i just purchased. i heard they are pretty much the same thing as OEM..however, i just realized that they LOOK kinda different. can someone tell me why they look so diff and does it matter?

the shape is a lil different. wont make a difference.

The straighter the pipe and the less baffles-the better for an intake pipe imo.

Stillen tube is shaped slightly different... is it for functional purpose or patent infringement purpose? I don’t know... it definitely has more curves. Almost shaped slightly "s" like... Z-tube is much straighter with only one minor curve towards the TB.

Just use some epoxy and some round rubber tire patches and make your very own G tube a modified Z-tube. Take 5 miutes and you get to with epoxy. Be sure to wait overnight for the stuff to set and you can just rip the resonator right off.
