I just intalled the Z tube but I am concerned about the placement of the rubber tube that is now located on the bottom of the Z tube. (#7 on the DIY instructions) This rubber tube is touching the heat shield.... is this bad??
I took a chance installing this myself (my friend wasn't available for a couple weeks and I couldn't wait) and everything looks great except that this tube is against the heat shield.
Please let me know if I need to reposition it...
I have attached a picture from the DIY instructions.. hopefully this will help ... I couldn't mark the image since my picture studio program sucks.

Everyone's is like that, and no problems... the pipe is prob made for high temps being that close to the engine!

Oh man! You havn't driven it with the Z tube yet???
You are OK with it like that, go driving and enjoy
the music the tube produces, remember to keep the
stereo off because it is just noise covering up the music
from your new intake setup.
