all cars react differently to mods and dont always see a gain immediately. some mods will actually cause you to lose power. to fix this, get a tune. but i wouldnt recommend a tune until youre done with all your mods. jmho.

Next move, an exhaust system. Go with Fast Intentions. Youll get great gains, great sound, great quality, and excellent customer service. They're having a sale right now actually, check out the marketplace under the vendor section.

hero is right.. you might not see a gain immeidiately.. an exhaust would be a good next mod.. try a ecu reset..

Are you a 5AT or a 6MT? 287hp or rev up motor? You mentioned 4th gear so it counds like you're an auto, doing a rear differential swap with a 6MT would be a simple boost in power.

Can you dyno your car?
That would indicate if you have a problem and how much.

Is your car a coupe or sedan?

Take the car to a 1/4 mile strip and make some passes and report back. That's the only real way to know if something is wrong.....and I doubt there is. The longer you drive a car, the more you get use to the power.

after the mods, does the car feel slower than b4 the mods? or is it just not faster?

if i had to guess, the problem is probably the K&N intake. try taking it off and putting the original intake back off. I'd bet it'll feel faster in 4th gear again. the intake may make you loose torque, which makes the car *feel* faster, especially in higher gears where you are in lower rpms and torque makes more difference than horsepower.

if that is the problem, you can sell the K&N and buy a stillen intake.

edit: alternatively, if the car is not slower, but rather you are just dissapointed with the gains, you should keep in mind that n/a mods don't really add that much power.
