does ztube/pc combo affect mpg?

Just wondering if this combo negatively affects the mpg. I've heard of people who've installed the tube along with the pc and the rpms never going below 3000. Is this accurate?

Technically, probably not, well nothing sginificant or noticeable anyway. But the most likely effect is that you will want to hear the intake more and more, and rev the engine higher than normal just for the sound.

As long as you stay in closed loop the A/F is always close to 14.7 give or take a few %.

Therefore rpm directly controls fuel consumption.
