its a medium level of installation, it would be hard for people who arent mechanically inclined.

^^ +1

Very easy install, but don't get the skunk. Get the either of the two different sized ones (5/16" or 1/2") from www.motordyneengineering.com

I went with Motordyne. Easy DIY, make sure you read instruction and don't over tighten!

its a DIY, but not an easy one, i just did it over the weekend.

put out a couple bowls for your bolts, phase and separate your bolt removals.

if you're installing the iso thermal, you'll get a spurt of coolant when you remove the hose.

its easier to disconnect hoses and remove the upper plenum completely from the engine bay than to lay it off to the side and slide the spacer in.

you don't need a torque wrench, inch pounds are a ridiculously low amount of torque to buy a wrench. just hand tighten.

the hose clamps that come with the spacer are INSANELY tight.

take it slow.

don't blow your engine up.

that's everything i woulda wanted to know.

its tedious. there are alot of bolts, just take your time and dont miss any. make sure your gaskets are properly secured

The biggest problem most people have with the plenum is overtorquing the bolts and breaking them. Be careful.

I'd say make sure you use a Torque Wrench.
It's safer and easier that way.
Worth the expense !!
