Sorry I'm just senstive to how my cars perform. After I changed my oil today I took the car for a quick spin. Couple drifts and a couple 0-100s. Parked back in the garage and did a check on everything and see if the bit I dropped in the engine bay fell out .

I heard this intermittent "PSSSSSSTTTT" noise. A loud hissing comming from the rear center of the car. Took the car out again and came back. the hissing was smoother now and consistent with the engine idle.

I fallowed it to some vaccum hoses that run along the right side of the car and into this black box. It's right before the right rear wheel. Does anyone know if this noise is ok and what is that black box?

I just saw the post about "Check Engine and Small Leak Error " . Is this noise I'm hearing related? hope this isn't a flaw with the g35c's.

Wonder if that is the excess pressure in the gas tank venting. The tank has to pressureize or we get the "Check Engine" light, but is only supposed to go to a certain point.
