why does my sevice engine soon light come on?
my service engine light comes after a few runs at the track. just want to know if anyone else is experiencing the same sort of thing. any replies would be appreciated.

the only time my service engine soon light came on was when i did not have my gas cap tightened correctly, it took about a tank of gas for it to shut off. that is what it should be unless the light is blinking which i believe stands for a missfire, if you have the nav system it tells you in detail what the problem is, if it does not go away soon bring it in to the dealer.

Mine is on too, I don't know why, I did an ECU reset and it disapeared but come on again later.
I have no modification.
I have an appointment for service in the dealer on Wednesday, i will post what they tell me .
