why mix redline mt-90/mtl 70w80

i was just wonder what is the purpose of mixing Redline MT-90 (75w90), and MTL 70w80. and would there be any damage to your tranny if you just run straight MT 90?

Good question. What is the purpose? Who recommended doing this? It might not be advisable to play chemist.

Why would you want to?

There may be a little mix if you drain and refill but that is not a true "mix" IMO.
