I totally agree Gordgee, once the engine warms up the viscosity changes, since our "G's" seem to be(so far)oil leak and seep free, 0 weight might be ok to use, but here in the Bay Area we hardly see freezing temperatures.
I would use the Zero weight if I was assured of no leaks.

 

I remember the sales pitch now against synthetic causing leaks.

The guy told me that it's cause the synthetic lubes so well it actually moves out a lot of the crud that's holding up leaks. Usually happens on older cars. Therefore people think that the synthetic oil caused the car to leak.

LOL he sold me on that one.

I believe the reason is because the molecules of standard oil are uneven in size, and the synthetic's are uniform in size. When put into an older engine run on conventional oil, it can cause leaks. Plus newer engines have tighter tolerances than older engines.

Where do I get this oil? I was going to just use Mobil 1. I also go to Ramsey Infiniti.
