How easy is it to get to 320whp NA?

I know - he got 320 on a dynapak.

320 WHP (Dynojet) aint happening with NA without:
Individual Throttlebodies (TopSecret etc) http://www.topsecretjpn.com/products/vq35itbx.jpg
12:1 + compression (110 race gas)
Near-race cam profiles
Tuned headers + exhaust
Full reflash and/or piggyback
Or......buy an '07 and wait for JWT to release their TT kit and destroy pretty much everything out there. That's what the guy selling the car wants to do I bet.

I know. If my 03.5 wasn't still virtually perfect @ 80000 miles, I would have part with it for an '07 already. I just can't let such a well-maintained car go for such a pittance ($16-18K). I am considering just selling the wife's '94 LS400, giving her the 03.5, and bringing home an '07. Maybe my 40th birthday present to myself. 2 black G's in the garage, oh my!
It is entirely possible for him to be putting down 320whp he has claimed headwork and tuning so it could happen. depending how they did the porting and valvework its possible. the only problem with doing so is the power band is effectively useless, When we ported an non revup motor's heads on a local guys 350z we squeezed a lot of peak horsepower out of the engine but the powerband was weak below 5000rpm. plus the fact that he has a fairly long duration cam put in (278 compared to the JWT/nismo cams which sit at 260) it will probably have a really loppy idle. put all these together you will have high end numbers with a weak low end so unless the engine can rev up to 8000 rpm its not going to be much use to you.
What do you guys think this will do for an NA engine?

I've read that the ecu wouldn't work in the states. And how much are you gonna pay for assembly?
That kit is *way* too much money. If you're interested in staying NA, go with a stroker kit from GTM(either the 3.7 or 4.26). Normally they use the lower compression pistons, but I'm sure you could go with higher compression for NA purposes.

Can't recall if it's MT, C&D or R&T, but one of the mags recently featured three versions of the 350Z tuned by HKS; 1 turbo, 1 supercharged and 1 NA.
They claim 320 HP at the wheels for the NA, but that's roughly a $30k build. The quoted WHP numbers for the supercharged version seemed accurate (385) so I doubt the WHP figures are skewed much. But again, that's after a very hefty investment. High WHP numbers, with minimal expense, certainly couldn't be your goal if you could justify (to yourself) going NA instead of forced-induction.

+1
Sam @ GTM is estimating 400 whp conservatively with the 4.2L stroker NA. 450 might be possible with that engine...

The new motor and all the bolt ons and a high reading dyno may get you barely over 300whp N/A
