The VQ35 has a pretty low redline to get much serious power N/A. It would seem you need more displacement (stroker kit) or more revs (into Honda territory). I guess Nismo put all their stuff (including the S2 engine stuff) into a Z as the RS concept....that made about 350hp (I'm assuming that's crank).
