Infinity Replacing my Motor!!!
its funny how everyone is making a big deal on the spelling who cares.
but anyway The only real way to find out what happend to the engine is to tear it down. Most likley though it possible the rings did not seat properly and the oil was getting by and just burning up. Thats all i can think of. Could just be a fluke. But at least you are getting a new engine thats always a plus. And the chances of it happening again are probly slim. so good luck with the new one

Going thru my 1st oil test now. My rep thinks I'll probably need a new engine also. I have 20,000 miles on my '05 6mt. I took it in for service and oil change at 2800 mile interval and guess what they drain like 1/2 qt of oil frommy car!
