Well, seems I waited a bit too long in my mind up on purchasing this supercharger. Vortech has raised it's prices on superchargers by around 450.00. A week ago I was quoted a price of 4650.00 through Superchargers online, and now they are up to 4999.00. Anyone know who may have the best price out there, as I am ready to buy! Thanks

 

You can get them pretty cheap used . Plenty of them for sale on the different forums

 

i got quoted teh same for the rev up =( been lookin around for a used, but not too many for the rev up engine

 

Stop complaining, it's only $350, j/k.

I feel you on that. Im the process as well. I tripped out when I seen the jump. Im going to call to ask why and see if they can maybe honor the price from last time.

 

I know it is only 400.00, but it seems like a hefty increase.You can get a Vortech S/C for other makes of cars ie. Mustang for 1/2 the price. Every little bit helps, and there is always a mental budget you work with. I just think the popularity of the kit on G's has something to do with it. Anyway, made up my mind...moving forward!!

 

I here you. Every little bit helps. That extra money would be for gauges or something. I called them and said they cant honor the price they had before. Fawkin bastards....like you say, moving forward!

 

Superchargers online got in trougble, if I remember correctly, by charging TOO LITTLE and blowing sales for other dealers...I think they had to go back to their regular pricing, like other dealers or loose their ability to resell them.

It wasn't fair to the other dealers or Vortech for that matter....

 

No wonder...It was a MONOPOLY! jk...
