Oh well, I was hoping they'd stick to the "Spring 07" number on their store. In any case, I'm willing to wait; Cobb has always released outstanding products for Subaru vehicles and I'm willing to bet that this item will be every bit as special.

Cool. But since this stuff has to do with uploading programs, will they have a full set of diff programs, ready to go when it's released?

Guess who's car is going to be tested?
I have not heard anything from them in weeks. Must be a set back of some sort.
Should be a great product. Fingers crossed

Can you elaborate on what they are doing? ie.. something along the lines of the TS reflash? I suppose there's some free power just in the rev limiter and the throttle opening mods.

I wonder if they have found any torque management inside the auto engine ecu?

My understanding is its a stand alone unit with the ability to add or change Maps on the fly.
Cobb, will have Maps for different year cars and configurations.

My thinking is, that it should be the perfect solution for engine tuning. I'm still not liking what's on the market at this time. I wish MSD would step up to the plate and build an compasitive discharge multi spark unit for the VQ's, along with an adjustable fuel pressure regulator to adjust A/F curve.

Time will tell

This base unit is uploads pre-mapped fuel/ign/etc programs that you can flip inbetween already uploaded programs.

But if you order an accessport tuner, it will allow you to do real time changes and I assume name this particular file.
