Hey guys don't think I'm a dum a$$, I'm just kinda new to the import thing. I just bought a 05' G35 sedan and I'm just loving waxing Acura's and Chevy trucks so far. I was just looking for a little something extra without spending a fortune. Ya'll are gonna have to help me out and steer me in the right direction. I plan on lowering it and putting some wheels but will need advice on how to lower it and wheel size. I want to keep the performance and acceleration that I have though. If bigger wheels will endanger that, then I wanna stay with 17's and close the gaps by lowering it.
Thanks!!!

You are in the wrong forum for that... this forum is for making fun of pinwheels that creates cold air... you know, like a supercharger but for $200

Anyway - you need this forum:

Do a 100 shot, its probably the cheapest way to go considerably faster without breaking anything, if you do it right that is....

I'll buy it!! After all the ice caps melt, it'll be beachfront property and will be worth millions. Better pick it up while it's still cheap!

Well you've got the e-Ram electric "supercharger" here: http://www.electricsupercharger.com/...FSZJYAodjQNZgQ

It's been "featured" (meaning some sort of press release or advertisement, most likely) in: Sport Compact Car, Super Street, Modified, Import Tuner, Turbo, etc... It also won some awards at the 2006 SEMA show for best new product and other shit. That's the only reason I bothered to actually look at their website, vs. immediately laughing at all the ones that preceded it.

That one and the one shown in a previous post has such a small electric motor that I don’t see how it could be worthwhile. They claim 1 psi ($300) or 1.7psi (over$500) - if their advertising is anything like most aftermarket companies, those number are probably inflated.

Even if it remotely accurate, do you want to spend between $500-$600 for less than 2psi of boost? Look at their HP claim: "up to 27 HP"... "up to" could mean 1 HP. Then there is some kind of fine print regarding warranty and guarantee that I didn’t bother reading.

The bottom line is most people that have reported out here think it would be a waste. I definitely think it's a waste. Their ad says it's been around since 1997... don’t you think it would have made a huge impression by now and lots of people would have it if it were worth it?

If you (or OP) think you are entering a new frontier and want to be the groundbreaker that found a great new mod, try it out and let us all know how it works. I could be entirely wrong.

Let me add to that, if you reat the article I posted from Turbo magazine, you will see that it takes up to 20-50 hp to boost an engine to an "aceptable" level that most would agree is worth doing. This thing could have less than 1/2 hp.

these things are a joke, you would lose more power since the fans blocking air from coming in your intake manifold. think bout it when your on the gas your car is sucking in air like crazy this lil fan isnt going to have enough power to push any extra air, its just going to block things
