I installed a B&M short shifter... and when im reving high it makes a wired noise.... what could this be? (rattle)

 

check under the car that there is enough clearance between ****er and exhaust heat shields. On some short shiftern installs i have had to take off heat shields and remove material. When you rev high the motor shifts on mounts and can move exhaust as a whole.

Hvae someone in car rev and go underneath to see...

I put one in my 04 and took it out in less than a month. Not only did it buzz but the shifting effort was ridiculous. The stock shifter has a rubber damper built into the shift rod to keep the vibration in check. The throws on the stock ain't so bad. A touch pricey, though.
