Hey guys, I just picked up a 03' 6mt about 3 weeks ago. Had 48,500 miles when I picked it up and runs great.
Now, my other car before this was a automatic. So I'm a bit rusty on driving a manual, so sometimes I stall the car when trying to park or pull in to my garage.
Well, the other day I stalled the car. I turned the key to restart and it sounded like the engine had some trouble turning over. Instead of the instantaneous "Vrooooom" of the engine starting up, is sounded like the it had some trouble turning over. I thought, no problem, it took alittle longer but started up fine.
Now, yesterday, same thing happend. Stalled while pulling into my garage (my fault). Had my headlights on along with my stereo. Went to restart the car, motor turn over twice...then nothing. Silence, no click sounds or anything. Almost as if the battery was dead. Okay. Let go of the key, turn off my headlights & radio (figured the electrical takes up alot of juice from the starter) and turned the key again. Started up fine.
My fear is that my starter is going out or it's a symptom of a bigger problem. The car is still under warranty for motor & drivetrain. Would this be covered under the warranty?
Any ideas/advice would be great....
