Question Getting More Torque?

Hey guys I was wondering how can I get more Torque out of my 07 G35 Coupe 6spd. I'm getting a HKS exhaust, and a MREV2 and a intake but don't know which to get. Can u tell me which intake would be good? I dont want to take off my front bumper so I don't want a cold air intake. Thanx a lot.

If a short ram set-up is your choice, I would opt to go with either the Stillen Hi-Flow Air Box or JWT Popcharger set-ups.

Edit: With all of the mods, which you are planning on. You may need to keep an eye on the Air to Fuel Ratio to monitor whether or not you might be running lean at some point. If so, you may additionally opt to tune your car with an Utec, UniChip, etc.

you're gonna lose torque with the exhaust..just get intake (pop charger), spacer, headers, and hfc. and for fun throw on some pulleys, a grounding kit, and some stickers!

You missed the most important torque mod for a rev-up: Mrev2!!!

i felt a bit of loss with the hks exhaust, which sucks but i really like the sound, i just hope it really does pick up more in the top end.. so i can justify the loss in the low end, the low end loss isnt as bad as when i first got it, perhaps the ecu had to adapt..

and as for running lean... you really think he would run lean with just mrev exhaust and intake like popcharger? on a revup?!?

Not necessarily so . . . However, it's a good idea to monitor the AFR via a dyno. Many people pop there cars on a dyno after some number of mods.

If you want torque then buy the MREV2. Don't waste your time with an intake unless all you want is the sound.

my experience . . . i have the Nismo CAI . . . did the install myself . . . no need to take off the front bumper . . . the Nismo CAI also comes with a bypass valve to prevent water from getting into the engine and i've had no problems over the last winter . . . also . . . i dyno'd after every mod and the CAI added about the same as the intake manifold (may differ for MREV) . . . the exhaust added the most but it was also my first install . . . numbers may differ on which part you add first . . . i'm happy with my set-up so far . . . sounds beefy and much funner to drive than stock for sure . . . +25.2 at the wheels over stock . . . not too bad . . . but i want more =P hahah . . . sucks . . .
