Has this ever happen to your G?

I bought a brand new 05 G coupe 6MT. Mileage was 14 when I drove it home. At about 2300 miles heading to work in the early morning I heard a terrible clunking metal to metal noise in the engine area. I ignored it! This went on and drove it for 500 miles until I got fed up. Brought it back to the dealer with 2800 miles. The adviser told me that the engine only had a quart of oil left. So needless to say that the damn engine was consuming oil. So they took care of it and told me to drive it for 1000 miles. I drove it and still consuming oil. I had to bring the car three times due to this problem. Guess what? To make it look like there's no problem with the car they are blaming me for the loss of oil. They're saying that I rev the car too high maybe. " Whatever man " They don't want to admit that the engine is a piece of ****. So now the car has 18500 miles. Still consuming oil so I had to add one quart of oil every 1000 miles. It's a hassle. That's my first problem.

Now the car has a new problem and this is where my question come in to play( Has this ever happen to your G? ) When starting the car you have to press the clutch one time and crank the key for the engine to start....broooomm!!!
Now the car won't even start even if I press the clutch like ten times. I have to have the timing right for it to start. Sometimes I have to crank the key first and then press the clutch and then it'll start. Sometimes it doesn't work that way.

Third problem is the cd/radio player. I have INFINITI system. I'm like listening to a cd or a radio and all of a sudden it just dies like the fuse just got shorted or somethin' Keep pressing the power button and it won't come back. The only way for the stereo system to come back is if you park the car and shut the engine and wait for about five minutes or so and then crank the engine, and then press the radio button and it'll come on.

I'm never gonna buy INFINITI or NISSAN again.
Dealership can't help me. They always give me the run-around method and tells me there's nothing wrong with the car. Sure!!! Your car is world class!

The dealership is full of BS. All 3 of your issues should be covered under warranty. Take it back and demand they fix. Take it up with infiniti corporate if you have to. Oil consumption on the 05's is a relatively common issue--search and you'll see.... I consistenly drive my 04 to 3-4K RPM's daily and there are no such issues with oil consumption. I had a 95 maxima that I drove consistently to 5K RPM's for 9 years and no oil consumption. They're going to say that you can't rev a relatively new G as much as you can rev a 12 year-old Maxima without burning oil?? BS....

6+10000. The dealership is full of $hit. It sounds like they are trying to get you to drive until you are damn near out of warranty. I would go directly to the big boss and advise him of the problem. If that fails than I'd go see an attorney. Consuming oil seems to be a big problem in our G's.

+1

Should all be under warranty, they could very possibly fight you on it, tell them to screw off.
These aren't Hondas, after all
