hmm i dont know whats wrong with my car..

i have a 2006 g35 coupe 6mt... it has 15,000 miles on it.. when i am driving in almost any gear.... and i floor the car.. the RPMS would shoot up.. and then it would come down and accelerate.. my car doesnt catch right away... it does that in almost every gear... i turned off the VDC and it still does that.. my tires only have 10,000 miles on it.. so its not the tires.. they still have alot of thread.. is something wrong with my clutch?? me and my brother both learned how to drive stick on it.. so im thinking maybe i need to get that checked.. if i take it to the dealership do you think they will fix the problem?? i have the mods listed in my sig.. let me know..

Smell anything unusual?? Could be the clutch. Not smart learning how to use a stick on an 06 G35, should have found a beater to abuse first. If it is the clutch, be prepared to get bent over by the Stealership, your best bet would be to get an Aftermarket one, and be real easy on it for a couple thousand for a proper break-in....

Definitely sounds like symptoms of a slipping clutch. You will need to replace the clutch. Dealership may or may not fix clutch under warranty, but good luck with that.

Clutch for sure. I don't think one kills a clutch *only* by learning how to drive a stick with it (that is, easing into it from a stop). You probably did way more damage to it if/when you were learning how to launch the car at high RPMs.

I don't know with 100% certainty, but the clutch might not be covered under warranty since it's something that can wear out. Someone else here that has dealt with a stealership will know for sure...

Your Clutch is unfortuantely not covered under your factory warranty being that it is a wear and tear item... Although if some you can convince the stealership that something is terribly wrong with you tranny that you believe to have caused this to your clutch try to get your tranny replaced and you clutch will be replaced along with that.
