Better way to transfer fluids than hand pump?

No, it's not a swedish ***** enlarger... "I swear it's not mine!"

Changed my tranny and diff fluid this weekend using the hand pump... what a PITA. Not only is it ridiculously messy, but I'm not sure this is the best approach. When the fluid gets transfered, it doesn't look to be of the same consistency, due to the amount of air that gets mixed in. I'm not sure how many of you are culinary experts, but I'm thinking along the lines of regular flour and sifted flour.

So with the amount of air getting mixed in, i'm not sure if I'm getting the right amount of fluid in the car. Just wondering if others are using a different approach than the lame hand pump.

I used that same exact pump and then after about 5 uses on the tranny and diff it gave out and would not siphon anymore. I threw it away and then get me one of these from Kragen.

It'll be a little more work than the siphon tool but you'll have a lot less air for sure and you don't have to rely on the physical factors in order to make siphoning work.
