New Engine
Well if you have seen some of my earlier posts about my oil consumption problem I have been informed I'll be getting a new motor. My service advisor
told me I should get it within 3 weeks.
I am pleased that Infiniti has agreed that burning 4qts of oil every 3,000 miles is excessive. My service dept at North Houston Infiniti has been great to me. I just hope that I don't see the same problems with the new motor also. I was hoping to go FI with this car but I don't think I'll ever go that route now. If I want more hp I'm going to have to wait for an new M3 or Z06. If anyone has any tips on how they "broke in" their revup manual g. I want to try and make sure I did everything I could on my part. I bought my car with 13,xxx miles so I didn't get the chance to break it in the 1st time. Like when did you guys switch to synthetic or should I wait til 5,xxx miles to switch to syn oil.
