Hi guys,

Its about time to change my air filter in my 05 G35 6MT, and since the Nissan is alot closer to me than my Infiniti one, I'd like to pick the air filter up there. I called and asked if they had air filters there that would fit the G, and they said they did, but didn't seem so sure of it. Can any of you confirm that a Nissan brand air filter fits, and which Nissan vehicle it would be same as (ie 350z).

Answered my own question, looks like its the same filter between the 350z and FX35 (all years I guess).

Yes they do..... just recently go my oil and air filter changed out at the Nissan dealership.....

 

did they use infiniti factory spec syn oil though? are the air/oil filter prices the same?

 

what is "Infiniti factory spec syn oil"... Our motor is a Nissan motor. The filter Infiniti puts on out motor says Nissan right on it... we share the exact motor as the Z and FX, that's why the filter is the same.

Nissan service will be cheaper than Infiniti because - well it's Nissan. A Z owner isn’t going to pay G owner prices... There is absolutely nothing wrong with having a Nissan dealer do your oil change. You just won’t get the little Infiniti logo stamp in your maintenance book.
