I don't think he broke 300rwhp, expect to drop ~$25k+ for 500rwhp NA if its even possible, and run on race gas all the time

hey guys, i made 306 with that setup, i revved all the way to 8500 and it made power to 7500 then slightly fell off, you will need to redesign a lot of stuff to make power higher than that. it was kind of a last minute project just to do for fun. i had very very mild S1 cams in it, i really didnt put too much time or money into the whole thing cause i just wanted to see where my starting point would be. car went 12.3 at 110 the first time i went out.

then i decided i was bored and i would go back to a big turbo. its hard going from a low 10 second Z and making the same car run low 12s. i am currently putting a T88 single on there with a very built motor.

you could probably reach close to 450 with a really really big stroker kit NA, but you are going to spend probably 12000 to get the motor fully running, then 10 000 on getting all the other parts for it. all to find out what it will do....

i own a shop so it doesnt cost me nearly as much so i can play around with stuff.

if you really want to do it, let me know, i would be VERY interested. if you want to make sure you go really really fast for that same amount of money (600+) then let me know as well and i can get you there for sure...

My understanding is that GTM has something cooking NA that may even take you past your goals... (I could have misunderstood though ) might want to hit Sam up.

http://www.topsecretjpn.com/engine.shtml I want the Top Secret N/A setup so bad! 95.7 mm pistons, slide-cam sprockets, 6-throttle conversion (mechanical) w/ anodized trumpets (in gold). 42.7 mm Pro exhaust manifolds, fuel rail, etc...W/ cams, ported heads and tune, supposedly good for 354 hp and 296.4 lb's torque.

How can it have ITB and a larger throttle body? ITB's replace the throttle body completely in favor of 6 smaller throttle bodies.

500 HP NA on our VQ's is what I consider impossible... unless you have tens of thousands sitting around for use of such a project.

I think it would be easier to swap the VQ for an LS7 than to reach 500whp on the VQ.

An LS7 G35 would be insane! Although I have a feeling it will never be done...

Yeah an LS7 motor would be pretty insane. If you read my post I said yeah maybe 500 hp is a little too much but I am spending tens of thousands of dollars on it

U r correct. The larger throttle body is sold seperately and is not compatible w/ the mechanical individual throttle setup. <edited>

If their cams can keep up with redline that approaches 10k, you've still got the issue of the manifold. But that's still amazing. I would love to see that motor paired with an SFR kit.
