Re: Buyer's Feedback Warning

Other than the payment/shipping delay, I don't agree with his complaints. I think the grounding kit he received for $45 was cost-appropriate. If he didn't want a cheap, hand-made job, he should have bought a more expensive set. I made my own set, and it looked exactly how he described. The cuts at the ends weren't quite even, and the terminals were indeed affixed with pliers. My hand was sore for days after squeezing them on tight enough so that they wouldn't pull off when tugged. I used better quality gold terminals, but I'm under no illusion that they're pure. He expects pure gold all the way through for $48 shipped? There's no way I'd make another set of these for just $45 no matter how cheap the materials. If you want machine-made, spend $120 on a pre-cut HKS kit (if they have them out for the 350Z yet). And if InsaneAnime has expanded his operation to machine-made kits and is still selling them at $75, kudos to him. But you don't see operations like NISMO (from which 'Anime got the plan) offering these kits for under $50, and they're the ones who can actually afford to put them on a factory line.

In short, I don't think this was in any way a rip-off. He paid for a cheap kit and received a cheap kit.

Re: Buyer's Feedback Warning

I made 2 sets myself for the "G" with Gold terminals, another set for my son Andrew's SRT and another for my 4Runner. Both Andrew and I noticed a difference immediately and I posted that in Gordgee's Looooonnnnngggg thread if anyone cares to search. I don't.
Cost came out to be about the same as Gordgee's but I went the extra step and purchased the propper crimpers (I had cutters from before). I think they came out very professional.
The other set went to Pestilence and I have not asked him if he has put them on as yet or threw them in the garbage.

Pesti any comments?

Andrew, We Miss and Love You! Peace!

Heyyy.. sorry for the late reply I got lazy about putting them on..but a few months ago I actually did it .. When I opened the box you sent me Merlin i was quite suprised on how professional they looked.. I checked all the connectors and they were securly attached.. so the kit merlin made me.. looked and was just as good if not even better than any of the production machine made kits.
