HKS Circle Earth Grounding Kit

Here ya go guys...just installed the HKS Circle Earth grounding kit. It looks good but I have yet to notice any significant changes other than the idling getting smoother and a smoother shut off.

This is the universal kit so I had to measure the wiring myself. There is one more wire to install that will ground the tranny but was too lazy to lift the car up today.

did u disconnect the negative battery terminal for 12 hours or do a manual ECU reset ?

it was more like 3 hours and no resetting was needed according to the techs at dynamic autosports who sold me the kit.

what are the possible problems that may arise as a result of not doing this?

No reset is actually necessary. Most notice a difference with H-G systems right away. I've found though that with some cars, it sometimes helps to go for a spirited 10 to 15 minute drive with some runs at WOT for the ECU to figure out it's getting a new signal. It's almost a necessity with VWs.

Nice job on the install BTW. I'm going to link your pic to the H-G thread if you don't mind, to show what the HKS kit looks like.
