Engine misfiring???

I've noticed that now that its summer and I'm using my A/C a lot, often times, when I accelerate on the highway in 6th gear, right around 2800 to 3000 RPM's (like from ~75 to 80 mph) the engines appears to misfire for just a second. If I push the pedal hard from about 70, it can hesitate a couple times right around 3k before moving on. Has anyone experienced something like this? Think it could just be time for a tune-up or something? I always use 91 gas.

Thanks

It's possible but you should get a P300X code and a SES if you are getting a misfire. The car will be more sulggish with the A/C on, are you sure it's not just the power difference you are feeling and not a misfire?
