So my dad was helping me put new pads on, he left the car in the power switch for the ignition, for an hour. I'm pretty sure that drained the battery.

A day and a half goes by and my cars ignition isn't turning over, but now I turn it over and put my foot to the pedal, I think the battery needs to be charged. It has NEVER done this before.

ANY HELP would be APPRECIATED. Should I charge it, my friend told me to just gas it around so the alternator can charge the battery.
