Okay My Dilema!!!!!!your Opinion

so i decided what clutch im going to go with. I was working last night and overheard a couple of my bar regulars talking about clutches so i chimed in saying i have a g and im about to get mine replaced. Justin reply's back, where are you getting it done. and i said not infiniti they charge 119/hr for labor. He says he can do it. Now Justin has a fully built motor in a 240sx and he drifts. he claims he is a certified nissan tech. I asked him if he ever worked on a g35 replacing the clutch and he said no but he has done countless 350z's. The best part is he said he would only charge me 100 dollars for labor. if i helped with the little things like pumping clutch and various little things nothing technical. Now what im scared of is that this guy is gonna take apart my tranny and it will break. Would you trust someone with this. My g is my baby, but he is a nissan tech. I dont think he would say he can replace my clutch if he really coudn't. I just want to hear what you guys think. On the plus side i would learn alot about my transmission to and clutch if i helped. thanks guys

Remember dealer techs only get $20-$25 per hour, at a dealership at least 10 people are somewhat involved every time you have work done.

The question is what happens later if problems occur?

In my experience you get what you pay for, it might be worth an extra 500 or so just to get it done right..and you shouldn't have to replace your clutch for another 60 to 90k
