well after having the kit installed for a week, i must say that there are very noticeable differences. the car is not as notchy when changing gears and the throttle response is alittle crispier. now i have to see if i gain any gas mileage. maybe not but who knows. i must say tyler uses high quality wires and clips. we were thinking that 12 wires may be a bit over kill but, he said if he can use it as a ground then he would. i must also say that it is very neat. you don't see wires running all through the engine bay. thanks again tyler and hope you business does very well because you make a great product.

dang.. 12 wires.. i think it's kinda overkill.. i'm content with my 7 wire set.. then again, more grounding wires never hurt anybody.. i don't believe you are the most grounded G though.. i recall someone having a 13+ wire kit.. time for you to put on more hehe..

I'm pretty sure I've done more G35s than anyone. I've asked for feedback in gathering empirical data on all the additional wires, and even the 8th wire is questionable re its benefits, and is still offered only as an unproven GroundingGear™ option. The only wire that suggests some improvement beyond the standard 7-Wire kit is one VERY Specific additional wire which is at this time, being tested. Has anyone done the extra wires AFTER installing the basic 7 (the 7th wire was developed on this forum BTW), and noticed an actual difference? In fact, grounding to some areas might actually cause some problems! In discussion with some EEs, it might not be a good idea to do your radiator for instance as it could accelerate corrosion or breakdown of the coolant (can't remember why, maybe one of our EE/Chem E members can help). Not knocking anyone's idea that more might be better, as even a GroundingGear™ client did 12 way back. I'm just trying to gather more empircal data that suggests the extra wires are worth more than the "cool" factor. (Your's looks good BTW)

I installed Gordons 7 wire kit. Gord sent me the 8th as a favor.
I started poking around the engine compartment and found
3 more factory grounds that were not "in the loop". I chained
these extra 3 factory grounds to the existing 8 wire set,
bringing the total to 11 wires. My 12th wire is probably just
for looks. My G35 sedan is way smooth, starts before the
key returns and looks "Killer".

thanks for the compliments. like i said i don't know if more wires help or do nothing. i've never had a 7 wire kit so i wouldn't know. all i can say is with the 12 wire kit my car shows improvement. would i have gotten the same results from a 5, 6, or 7 wire kit? i don't know.
