plenum spacer and mrev questions

ok. i have an 04 AT coupe. iv read on here that the mrev is wats already on the car because its a nonrevup. the revup lacks this. so i was wondering if this mod would have any effect on my car.

and wat about mrev+ and mrev2. how are those different. and would one of those work better than the mrev

and will adding a 5\16" or 5/8" spacer have a difference.

yes yes im a noob.

A non RevUp engine will definitely benefit from a Motordyne plenum spacer. The said was initially made for the non RevUp's.

The MREV+ and the MREV2 are the enhanced versions of the OEM lower collectors (MREV), which Tony Collette of Motordyne has performed additional machining at key locations to afford added performance.

Yes, the non RevUp engine can benefit from the MREV2. However, running lean can be a side effect, depending on what additional breathing mods have been implemented . . . And as such, a tune maybe required.

thanks man.

one more question tho. the 5\8" spacer...does it require getting a new engine cover?? if so, how much does one usually go for?? im tryna buy a 5\8" spacer and a user on here was telling me that you dont even need a stock engine cover...im not too sure about that tho.

MotorDyne's products........

No with the 5/8" spacer you can retain the OEM engine cover......if that's
what you like! Give Tony a call, he knows his product 661-993-5111...

I would give the 1/2" a look also. Slighly more peak gains above 5K.

Either size is a good place to start along with a Z-tube. Install them all at once with few hand tools and little mechanical skill.

On the G35 since you do noth ave a strut bar to worry about and you are planning on a spacer... do the 1/2 Spacer...

If you have the NON-REVUP motor (AT or up to 04MT 280HP) then best thing you can do is just the 1/2 Spacer...

As said before, the REV-UP engine owners benifit more from the MRev plenum modification...

All motordyne spacer kits instock!

If you have not done a Z-Tube yet... that is the best bang for the buck you could do for your intake!

Don't think Motordyne makes the 5/8's anymore. They make a 5/16's.
