Quote: Hey Tom, how the heck you been? Wow...you've been busy!!!
I haven't been on 6mt for over a year.
Nice build. Cosworth ftw
Keep us updated here too.
Hello John,
yeah i have been keeping my head down on both sites, just reading and trying to sort out the good infomation from the not so good . I took about a year putting this together which i think is a must when going into something this deep.
Wow when i think back it was yourself that gave me all the advice on pop chargers, z tubes etc which at the time, when i was one of only a hand full of 350gt owners over here, helped me out big time. Superdds was the other person, he sent me over some cleaning product which i needed for a Zaino waxing kit i had bought.
Anyhow hope you and your family are well and of course i will keep this thread updated.

Cheers John

ps. i know you like that word

Tables have turned. If I go down the same or similar road as you, I'll be picking your brain for guidance/advise.
I'm partial to SC rather than TT, but will want the internal build never-the-less.
Family is good on this side of pond. Hope all is well with yours. I know Superdds personally, he's a great person.
Hey I'm a bloody Scotsman with English and Irish, Canadian too...of course I love that word...lol

With the mad WHP your planning, (I envy you btw) don't forget about the rest of your drivetrain.
If memory serves, think our gearboxes are good to up 500hp, but may want to consider beefing that up and your rear-end components.
Don't want to blow those out while playing hard.

-edit-
Clutch too.

Funny thing is for six months i was all set to go with the Rotrex supercharger set up but Rotrex fell out of bed with HKS so i moved on. Turns out now that you can buy the Rotrex one direct from Rotrex. You might want to look at this as a s/c option. Rotrex is deff on the way up in Europe and they have contracts to fit them in super cars such as the Koenigsegg.

BTW thank you yes my family are fine however my 2nd eldest daughter is off to do 7 months in either Afganistan or Iraq soon (not posted yet) she joined the Royal Engineers a few years ago. Its what she wanted to do so what can i say
