if you have a non rev-up motor, the MREV2 is basically your lower collector, so don't buy the same thing. LOL

it's a modified lower collector, not exactly the same as OEM... it originated as OEM and was machined a bit... you won't see the same gains as a rev-up... but it will help slightly - for most non-rev-ups it's probably not the most viable mod to have - however once you have maxed out most other basic bolt-ons and are after the last few areas of performance gain it might be worth consideration.

But an MREV2 is not exactly what is already on the car.

Its all been mentioned boatloads of times in other threads on Driver and My350Z

5/16 is best for your buck.... 1/2 your engine cover wont fit and if you want a strut bar it wont clear etc...my 2 cents ^_^

some people have gotten the engine cover to fit and the richie/nrg strut bar will fit.......

yes, engine cover will fit with 1/2" - it's best to invert the grommets... however, anyone that cares about performance enough to want a spacer probably isn’t running with a cover anyway... I don’t know of many with spacer that keep cover (I'm sure there are some, so you don’t all need to start posting)... but of all the track days, dyno days, and GTGs I've been to it is very rare. And yes, the cover does trap heat.
