just read your other post... a word of caution: if something breaks you'll be out of a car, possibly for a while if you don't have the cash to fix it right away. pushing a motor beyond its limits on a super tight budget might not be wise.
having said that i still think you should contact tuners about this, and keep searching the forums for people who have seriously attempted before

+1, take a look at what your goals are and what your budget really is.
You may want to discover automatic draft savings or paycheck deduction
It seems stupid to me to rip up your engine and put in a bunch of aftermarket parts that you don't need when you could spend $5k and get the vortech kit.
Why are you skittish about FI? Reliability? The vortech SC setup is very reliable, I want to eventually do one myself. Just don't over-do it.
just my .02

Look over at my350z.com There is a guy (Adam) that did an N/A build with all internals and what not to achieve I believe ?304/306? whp. Cost him a lot but he stayed N/A. Be prepared to pay big bucks to get there. It's up to you how you get there. Noz would be super cheap and then there is FI. Stock block can hold out pretty good but it's your coins. My set-up cost me under 2K and I can run my numbers all day on my stock block. You pick.
