Haltech?

Has anyone tried using a Haltech E6X or a Haltech E-11 in a G35 yet? I know it's supposed to be the [censored], but quite a nightmare to install/operate.

Re: Haltech?

I doubt anyone has installed it yet. I don't think many have enough mods to warrant the need for new engine management at this point, unless they had a built motor running high boost. Haltech = good stuff.

Re: Haltech?

It is an advanced engine management and the install is a pain..will take a least couple of day because you have to create a custom harness with new sensors that have to be wired in plus only an advanced tuner that has experience with it will be able to tune it because you start with all new map..cold start..warm start..full throttle part throttle..deceleration..etc.. umm unless your planning on havin a full blown race motor id rather wait till someone comes out with a plug and play ecu similar to aem's EMS..

just bumping this, in case anyone searches for it. I know it is very old, but a new version of the Haltech has come out, the Haltech Platinum, specifically designed for the VQ35 (Z or G), with a harness already made. I just recently installed it on my boosted G, and I love it. Very user friendly, very easy to use, and very powerful

Check out Injected Performance's page on it for more info, as they are the primary distributor in the US. And no, I am not affiliated with either IP or Haltech.
