Project: BUILT VH45DE TT on a G coupe
I'm assuming the 300ZX 5 speed is what you're going to be mounting?
Any reason you opted for the VH over the VK? IIRC, most of the dimensions between the crank, rods, pistons, journals, etc... are identical, but the VK has a beefier block with improved cooling.
Best of luck and can't wait to see the results.

yeah, going with a VG tranny adapter and modified linkage. I hate to go from 6MT to 5MT but oh well, it will do for now until I get my hands on a toyota V160.
OEM VH rods are 11% thicker and the pistons are significantly beefier than VK. I chose VH just because I got a very good deal on it. I have about 8-9 VK's sitting here at the house so eventually I'll offer a VK option.

Not yet since I'm finishing up my other project that's a 1995 Eclipse GSX fully built and 76mm Schwitzer. Once I get my "beater" going, I can get to work on the G.
