What are the best Test Pipes for the coupe that do not have any raspy noises. I have the HKS Ti Exhaust.

fast intentions makes some very good quality items as well.

at first i was skeptical but when i discovered their history, i quickly found out it's nothing to take lightly.

crawfords work well too.
some people seem to have fitment issues.

Yep its fast intentions for me also as there quality seems top notch.I am getting the resonated one,s.

 

I just recieved my Fast Intentions 300 Cell metallics and they are awesome. Fitment was perfect, top notch quality.

As I drove off with the new cats installed, I could tell a difference immediately. Hope this helps.

fast intentions resonated test pipes with hks catback is fvcken sick!!! i had that exact same set up....lets just say my neighbors hated when i came home late at night. also if you go with the tp get the cel light fix so you wont have to do it later.

 

i have fast intentions 300 cell metallic high flow cats paired with my hks system. i can't imagine having hks without these cats!

 

I'll admit that I haven't been updated on Exhaust mods but is there a fix for 05+ cars with TP and CEL?

 

I have the FastIntentions Resonated TestPipes with their fullcatback Intimidator exhause sounds exotic and no rasp ill be posting sound clips soon before and after on another thread...

whats the diference betwee the cats and test pipes? And what are the pricing for it? Also what is the cel light fix? Where can i purchase these?

test pipes are just straight pipes...but it is highly recommended to get the resonated test pipes as they will severely reduce rasp. you will also likely smell unburnt gas outside of your car when it's on with test pipes. will thro a CEL on later years (03.5+ i think). test pipes are cheaper than high flow cats.

high flow cats are just that...high lowing catalytic converters. much less restrictive than your stock cats. no rasp. no unburnt gas smells.will not throw a CEL. more expensive, though.

Does the test pipes and HFC have a difference in in power wise and sound wise? Also the HFC from fast intentions is about $600 and TP are about $350 - $400. Can anyone confirm?
