Engine stalling with newly added mods...
how did you do the ecu reset? keyhole method or by draining the battery?
If that didnt help i suggest you put the stock intake on. Reason being is because over all your getting more air into the engine than before - and with a CAI i was having the same issue, never happened with a stock intake -.
It doenst hurt to try

I did the key hole method for the ECU reset.
I am thinking about putting in the OEM Air box, but I will do that next week. I want to see if the ECU is learning what is going on, and hopefully adapt.
Keep the suggestions coming...I will take most into consideration.

Marysville/Yuba City. I think we are on the map. lol
The Keyhole reset was easy, especially when using at stopwatch. I got it on the first try, where as I read some members taking as many as 5 or 6 tries to get it done.

Ok, just an update for those that have read this thread before....
My car is not stalling when I take the car out of gear while cruisin. I guess the ECU needs more than 200 miles on it to realize what new mods have been added.
Thanks to all that replied to help me out

So give it some time it will go away. If u had a leak the idle rpm would NOT stay steady.

I don't understand why that's retarded. Maybe I'm the retard? Or maybe you're the retard.
Sounds pretty strange you having this type of problem with the stillen intake... I know when u have aftermarket intakes like injen that you can run into these types of problems... (From personal experience i've had this happen) I know with injen that the filter is in direct contact with the passing air(ram air) that causes a venturi effect and sucks out the air going into your motor and causes your car to stall or die... But stillen isn't in direct contact with the passing air... Like everyone said put ur stock intake back on and go from there...

Goodluck with the intake problem. I have had my Stillen intake for a year and never encountered any problems.
.
SAME THING JUST HAPPENED TO ME TODAY!!!
My Stillen CAI/Z-tube was intalled this past Saturday, and now, less than 150 miles after the install, I hit it WOT in first and second only up to 50 mph in second when I immediately had to brake for a red light and put the car in neutral as I did so. My music was on (not very loudly, either) and I when I tried to accelerate when the light turned green, no dice, and I then noticed my gauges lit up light a christmas tree. At this point it was actually reassuring that the lights were on because the car stalled and not some other reason.
After turning the ignition off then back on, it was fine. I managed to get the problem to duplicate itself while accelerating WOT up to 50mph and then putting the car in neutral... engine stalled when the revs dropped too quickly. Luckily popping the clutch in 3rd (still going 50mph, but with the engine stalled) started the engine no problem and I regained power steering just in time for a good size curve.
I definitely don't want to go back to my stock airbox, so I'm going to trust everyone else's experiences and hope that my ECU "learns" how to deal with the altered air/fuel mixture due to my intake.
Question: When I install my plenum spacer and exhaust, is this likely to happen again?
