did you guys pick up the latest article of import tuner? it said that hks is coming out with a newer version of their turbo and new supercharger. They say its suppose to be more quieter, greater efficiency, and more linear output throughout the powerband compared to other chargers on the market.

What gets to me is that the GT supercharger for street is CARB legal, at 7psi will sell for msrp of $6495.00 while the PRO Kit with 11psi sells for under $5000. I dont get that? You think maybe the prokit doesn't come with everything needed like the street legal one? or is it just bc its carb exempt?

$6500 is a lot of clams for 7psi. I would go for the 11psi that sounds about right for all around perfomance and drivablitly. I wonder what ttrank is running with his twins?? Well how much you got Tim?

old news. Its rumored that some cars have been test fitted in socal but i don't think u or I or any other consumer will be able to get their hands on one until next year. There's a bunch of vids of the new hks jdm blower on youtube

oic. i gues that leaves room for more horses depending on where you get that from. i guess we have to pay a hefty price just to stay carb legal.

well don't know if this is old news now but the new import tuner had small section about this and they had a g,z, and fx equiped with the new hipermax 3 coilover and supercharger. The supercharger claims about 50whp at 7psi which seems kinda weak to me and whats up with that dinky intercooler?

that's for the street kit. The pro kit with supporting management is rumored to be making 450+whp. The street complete kit is dumbed down cuz hks claims pushing anymore will result in decreased stock vq engine life.

Is the claim of 50 hp and 60 lbs tq at the wheels or the crank? Even if it's to the wheels, $6500 is way overpriced for that amount of performance. If the price was close to $5k I'd be interested considering I'm not looking for crazy power and it's CARB legal.
