I got an 04' sedan about 2 months ago now. I ve noticed that everytime i fill my tank that the gas gauge is always 3/4's full never full.. anyone know what this could be?

 

Could be the shutter valve in the tank. Check with your dealer for the recall.
Mine stuck at half one time, and nothing wrong with the gauge.
I honestly could not put more gas in.
Suddenly it worked again a few days later. I have not been to the dealer yet, but would consider it before taking a long trip.

 

I just took my car to the dealership for my gas gauge. It is about 5 gallons off. They took my car (giving me a loaner of course) called two hours later and said they ordered a new gas gauge assembly and they will replace the whole system when it comes in.
