Well just wanted to make a post regarding the lcd convertion on 05+ models, since thsoe that have done the conversion already seem to be on earlier models.. I've almost completed everything and all that's left to do is cluster so i decided to take it apart and see what is going on...Once I do everything I wlll make a post with pictures and lcd size, resistors, and where I got them and such.maybe a DIY if I have the time.

There is no way to make this any other color, unless you can custom design the gauge faces. The SMT's on the circuit board are hidden behind, so in order to replaced them with the lights of your choice, needles will have to be removed. I've removed the needles number of times on my Z and other cars, but I would advise against it unless you have a spare cluster.

The numbers are in orange film as well as the color around the faces. I am not sure what to do at this point, since the rest of the car is now red. My car is an 05 with a production date of 12/05.

I'd like to hear some opinions and possible from those that have already done this.
