I just took out my old headers and kinetix HFC today and replace it with Borla Headers and Titek Testpipes, the car seems to be running fine but whenever i start the car, it turns on like it should, the rpm meter shoots up, then right after that it drops near 0, or below 0 real quick and comes back up; making the car almost stall. Earlier today when i turned it on, twice it just stalled, i had to keep retrying. Does anybody know whats going on? It feels like my is struggling to start and or trying to stall but something is preventing it. Is something wrong with my starter? Need a tune? Anybody know?

 

how many miles are on your car? that happened to my car at around 35k and cleaning my throttle body cured it.

 

26k miles, i know cleaning the TB works, but i feel that its not the problem, it was fine before, and after the headers and test pipes went in, then it started going wacko.

 

try doing a battery reset...disconnect your battery...pump your brakes until you can't anymore...reconnect your battery and start your car...see if that helps

 

They disconnect the batteries when they did the headers and test pipes.
