I'll pay you $100 - Sedan Help

If you can overnight me 4 one dollar bolts that fit into the electric throttle control actuator. Easy money if you've extras or are a dealer that stocks this stuff. Thanks

I just went out and popped the hood on the car to try and figure out what you need, I see a black box on the side of the throttle body, but that's not bolted on, not that I can see. On a mounted throttle body are the bolts kinda buried?

Yeah you'd have to pull the intake tube off to get to them. The actuator is the first thing bolted onto the plenum. I need the 4 bolts that attach the actuator to the plenum. They are 5mm allen bolts. The threads are not continous they start half way down the bolt - or further...

Dang! I know exactly which bolts you mean. Last time I did a plenum replacement I dropped one of those bolts into the abyss TWICE and was extremely lucky to be able to fish it out from the innards of the engine area.

I don't have a solution for you--except to say that you might want to call any and all Nissan dealerships in your area if you haven't already done so.

Infiniti wont give me the part # or I would call NIssan. No point in wondering if the maxy uses the same part. I paid the 4$ for my local dealer to ship them but they wont be here for a while. I want to get it done!

Ok, I'll check with the local Nissan dealer and see what I can come up with.

For future reference the part # is 161225Y600. The nissan dealers also recognize this part with same #. If they only stocked them..

I just ordered the bolts, I figured I'd just pull mine off the car and send them to you then install the new bolts on wed, no biggie, I'll just keep the bolts handy. I was going to quiz you about when your dealer would be getting them, glad to see it worked out.

These are good to have if you ever do the plenum install! For 1.13 each I may buy a dozen since the plenum wars are waging and who knows what I'll buy next..
